Pat photographed various lighting and viewpoints of a still life scene. A small glass bottle and ceramic vase with a muslin fabric backdrop soon became colorful works of art. Each student chose a photo to paint from and then began filling their canvases with beautiful strokes in realism and abstract, color and texture, light and shadow. Pat participated by doing a painting too. Enjoy the wonderful variety in this art gallery!

Student Art Galley

In the fall & winter of 2007-2008 Patricia taught several drawing classes to three homeschooled children. This past fall she continued teaching them on Thursdays, and then the two of us co-taught four more homeschoolers on Fridays. These young artists have been working very hard and it shows in their artwork. Our goal is to teach ways of seeing, various techniques of drawing with pencil, pencil crayon, and pastel, and just to have fun with drawing!
